Rain, Rain, Go Away
Does anyone know how to do a reverse rain dance? We have had so much rain here in FL the last 2 months I’m starting to notice the growth of flippers on my legs and arms.
I don’t want to live under the sea. No matter how pretty Disney makes it look in The Little Mermaid, there are sharks there – and that evil lady who likes to steal other people’s voices.
Usually, when I plan an event I freak out the whole week before that no one will show up and I’ll be all alone. This Saturday I have 100 people coming to our community pool for a Luau extravaganza with a 50% chance of rain. Our rain date window has passed. Now, it’s rain or shine.
Our tropical paradise may very well look like this:
Please send sunny thoughts this way so my caterer, food, hula dancers, Samoan fire dancer, DJ, ticki torches, and sangria don’t get drenched. If it does, the sangria and I will be hiding in a corner commiserating together.
